People come from all over the world to enjoy my healing mud. The best mud is smooth as butter. Be prepared for a strong mineral smell but it goes away when the mud dries. You won't believe how good you feel afterwards. Wonderful for skin disorders too.

$350,000 sculpture/sundial nears completion

The Soap Lake Garden Club and Soap Lake Chamber of Commerce are hosting the “Solstice Inauguration” celebrating the final journey of the “Calling the Healing Waters” sculpture/sundial.

At high noon a marker will be placed in the ground indicating where to set the 12:00 PM hour marker on the Promontory Plaza showcasing the sculpture. This is so the shadow from the topmost feather on the sundial falls on that hour marker. The Summer Solstice is the only day of the year to accurately set a sundial. Sort of like Stonehenge.

Astronomer James Hamm from Big Bend Community College will explain the significance of the solstice. We hope you can join in this community celebration to observe this important step before beginning construction.

Global Consciousness and the GaiaField Project

Projects like these will continue to transform the planet and its inhabitants in wonderfully positive ways. Somehow my healing waters will play a part in this grand scheme.

The vision of the GaiaField Project is to support the emergence of a large, resilient, multi-hub network of spiritual leaders and their constituencies who will regularly participate in and co-create large-scale global meditation and prayer vigils.

“Many people intuitively recognize the power of uniting millions of people from diverse spiritual traditions around the globe in meditation and prayer for peace.
Several well-organized global meditation and prayer events, such as the Harmonic Convergence of 1987, the GaiaMind meditation of 1997, James Twyman’s “Great Experiments” and the annual International Day of Peace Vigil have involved hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people. Numerous research studies have documented consistent, significant correlations between the presence of large groups of meditators and improvements in social indicators such as crime rates, war deaths, and terrorist activity. "Calling the Healing Waters" sculpture/sundial

The Native American lore surrounding my healing waters is the stuff of legends. Now, this heritage is brought to manifestation with a magnificant sculpture soon to adorn my shores.

Two artists have created the "Calling the Healing Waters" sculpture/sundial. The community of Soap Lake will be building a Promontory Plaza on my shores featuring this one and a half lifesize bronze sculpture. The highest feather on the sculpture acts as a sundial. The Plaza will be surrounded by basalt stones acting as hour markers. This sculpture/sundial embodies the essense of my being. More shall be revealed.

Last lake to freeze

Even in winters white many birds visit my shores. Geese land in my waters hundreds at a time because Soap Lake is the last of the lakes below Banks Lake to freeze. The high mineral content makes it the last place the birds can float in water.

Wonder my shoreline and find downy and hairy woodpeckers, northern flicker, red breasted and white breasted nuthatches, Steller's jays, dark eyed juncos or bushtits. Increasing numbers of tundra swans, Canadia geese, diving ducks, dabbling ducks, and a few bald eagles reported in the Sun Lakes chain (Soap Lake to Banks Lake), if you’re looking for a nice drive.

Something stirring

Something magnificient is stirring on my shores. Plans are afoot to let the world know of my amazing healing properties in my waters. Yes, soon, all will be able to call the healing waters.

I am the voice of Soap Lake.

In the beginning post I mentioned Source Water. "Smokiam" (Indian name for Soap Lake, means healing waters)should be considered as a Source Water for Water for World Peace.

What does Source Water mean?

Source Water is a body of water resulting from ancient cataclysmic geological events shaping the world then whose evidence is being repurposed to shape the world today. Soap Lake would be an example. This idea is that bodies of water having violent natural creations would have an opposite vibratory frequency of peace and healing today. (Through the Law of Transmutation and Transmission of Radiant Energy.)

Consider this verse in the Holy Bible as an indicator of the power of water and all it contains-

2Kings2:19-22

19 Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold now, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad, and the land is unfruitful.”
20 And he said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him.
21 And he went out to the spring of water, and threw salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘I have purified/healed these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness any longer.’”
22 So the waters have been purified to this day, according to the word of Elisha which he spoke.

Note- the current day “Dead Sea” was called The Salt Sea (-1,300 ft). It is entirely possible that the above referred salts were actually minerals (salts) from the Dead Sea. [Hopefully the name will change when people realize words create vibrations in the global consciousness.]
